Janssen pocket spring

Jansen Mattresses was founded in 1954 by German businessman Brent Jansen in the Helmiya El-Zaytoun district of old Cairo.

The company, named after its founder, distinguished itself from the outset with a unique blend of advanced European technology and the skill of the Egyptian workforce.

In the late 1960s, ownership of the company passed to Egyptian businessman Mostafa El-Naggar, who transformed Jansen into one of the leading mattress manufacturers in Egypt and a major contributor to supporting local production and developing Egyptian industry.
